Join us as a Member of the CCL

The Commonwealth Countries League (CCL) is a voluntary pan-Commonwealth civil society organisation.

It was founded in 1925 by a group of women from many countries which make up today’s Commonwealth. The objectives are to secure equality of liberties, status and opportunities between men and women and to promote mutual understanding throughout the Commonwealth.

The CCL is non-party and is open to men and women from all countries.

It promotes the education of girls and young women and links together women’s organizations throughout the Commonwealth. In particular it raises money for its associated charity, the Commonwealth Countries League Education Fund.

We regret this and do not take such action lightly but in order to safeguard the charity have informed both the Charity Commission and Action Fraud and the matter is being resolved.

This does mean that we must ask you to be wary of any unauthorised email or request for payment and be certain that any correspondence is from our official source (members@the-ccl.org).
